Description
Tournament winners will be selected for an exclusive development program, which includes structured coaching, guided practice sessions, and “Titan Sessions” where they spar with more advanced opponents. Players will also undergo strategic partner matching to form strong doubles teams and / or singles.
These selected players will be sponsored to compete in a series of local and regional tournaments, gaining valuable experience and building competitive resilience. The program will culminate in a high-profile final tournament, showcasing the top talent identified through LAUNCHPAD.
The Launchpad is supported by notable title sponsors U Mobile and Leapmotor, alongside supporting sponsors LAC, Skechers and Larrie. And of course, it’s made possible with the technical support of Six Zero.

GENERAL RULES & REGULATIONS
• The tournament rules will be based on the USA Pickleball Official Rulebook. However,
the Tournament Committee reserves the right to make the final decision on any
disputes or any other matters that may arise.
• Substitutions of players or changes in team composition / partnership will not be
permitted after the draw has been finalised.
• The Tournament Committee reserves the right to close the registration once
registrations are full.
• The Tournament Committee reserves the right to change, postpone, or cancel the
tournament due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, registration fees will be
refunded, after deduction of administrative fees of RM10.
• All participants must be 19 years of age and above except for the Youth category.
• Parental or guardian consent is mandatory for participants competing in the Youth
category.
• All scores will be recorded and uploaded on DUPR
EVENT TERMS & CONDITIONS
Please read all the Terms & Conditions carefully. Anyone (“Participants”) who registers to
participate in LaunchPad 2025 (the “Event”) declares and acknowledges to have read,
understood and agreed to the Terms & Conditions and undertakes to comply with and be
bound by the same.
• The Event is organised by PickleFox (the “Organiser”).
• The Event will be held on 16 August 2025, Saturday at Mothership, 3rd Mile, 532A, Jalan
Murai 1, Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah, Jalan Ipoh, 51200 Kuala Lumpur (“Venue”). The
Organiser reserves the right to postpone or cancel the Event at any time.

• By signing up for and providing any information, personal or otherwise, to gain access
to participate in the Event or any activity(ies) relating to the Event or involving the
Organiser and the Event sponsors (the “Sponsors”) (if any), the Participant is deemed
to have agreed / given express permission to the following:
➢ Authorization to the Organiser, its agent(s) and/or contractor(s) to collect, process,
organize and retain personal data relating to the Participant.
➢ The Personal Data of the Participant(s) shall be used by the Organiser for the
purposes of:
(i) Marketing – sending communication materials to the Participant, including but
not limited to, direct mailers, emails, short messaging service and/or telephone
calls; and
(ii) Statistical analysis for planning and improvement of the Event.
➢ As the Event owner, the Organiser may engage the services of third parties to
process the Participant’s Personal Data as well as the production of essential items
required for the smooth operation of the Event in or outside of Malaysia. For such
purposes, Participants shall be deemed to have given his/her consent to the
transfer of all or any Personal Data to any such third party’s location in or outside of
Malaysia. All such third parties are contractually obliged not to use the Participant’s
Personal Data for any other purpose, other than as specified herein or for the
purposes of the Event.
➢ The Participant shall be deemed to have withdrawn from participating in the Event if
he/she withdraws his/her consent or authorization given at any time before the
Event starts.
➢ The Organiser will take reasonable precautions to keep the Participant’s Personal
Data secured and similarly ensure any third-party data processors to do the same.
➢ The Organiser may disclose or release the Participant’s Personal Data, if the
Organiser reasonably believes that it is necessary, desirable or required to do so by
applicable law or government regulation or by any competent body or authority, or
by legal process, or to respond to any claim, or to protect the rights, interest or
property of the Organiser or others.
• Any updates on the Event including any changes to the Rules and Regulations, Privacy
Policy or any other terms & conditions of the Event will be posted on the Official
Website & Official Registration Website. It is the responsibility of the Participant to keep
abreast with such updates and changes. The Organiser shall not be liable for any loss
or inconvenience caused.
MEDIA RELEASE / CONSENT TO PHOTOGRAPHY
By participating, players and spectators’ consent to being photographed or filmed during
the event. Media may be used for promotional, social media, or sponsor purposes.
REGISTRATION
• Everyone is required to register via online registration at
https://sportssync.asia/auth/login (“Official Registration Website”)
• All participants must complete the registration process, including payment before the
registration deadline is closed. Late registrations or incomplete entries will not be
entertained.
• Registration fees are strictly non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by Event
Organiser. Should the tournament be cancelled due to any unforeseen circumstances,
the registration fees will be refunded to participants, after deduction of administrative
fees of RM10.
• If registration falls below 50% of the intended capacity, the prize values may be
reduced accordingly.
• Participants are responsible for their travel and accommodation arrangements; Event
Organiser will not be held liable for any costs incurred.
PLAYERS DUPR ACCOUNTS
• Players must submit a valid DUPR ID on registration.
• Players with NO RATING are to self-evaluate their level. However, their participation is
at the discretion of the tournament director.
• DUPR Ratings must be below 3.500 with a minimum reliability of 50% at the time of
registration.
• It is prohibited to have multiple DUPR accounts or use specific accounts for specific
categories. Reports will be made to DUPR.
• Purposely lowering your DUPR rating by submitting fake matches will result in
disqualification or a ban from partaking in the tournament. Reports will be made to
DUPR.
• These guidelines & eligibility requirements have been reviewed by DUPR.
WITHDRAWALS
Players who wish to withdraw must notify the Tournament Organizer in writing (email or
WhatsApp) as early as possible.
• Withdrawals made before the close of registration may be eligible for a partial refund.
• No refunds will be issued for withdrawals made after draw has been done, unless due
to documented medical reasons and approved by the Tournament Director.
PARTNER REPLACEMENTS (DOUBLES ONLY)
If a player is unable to compete, a replacement may be allowed prior to the start of the first
match, subject to the following:
• A valid reason with documented proof must be provided for the replacement to be
permitted (e.g. injuries, sickness or emergencies).
• The replacement must meet the eligibility and rating criteria of the division entered.
• The change must be approved by the Tournament Director. If the change affects the
seeding of top players, it may be rejected.
• Once a team has played their first match, no replacements are allowed.
NO-SHOW POLICY
Players who withdraw without notice or fail to show up for scheduled matches may be
suspended from the tournaments.
PLAYER CONDUCT
All participants must demonstrate good sportsmanship and respect for the Tournament
Officials, Technical Officers, Referees, Event crew, spectators and of course, other players.
Prohibited behavior includes:
• Racist remarks, swearing, spitting, taunting, trash talk
• Slamming paddles or balls in anger
• Persistent arguing with Tournament Officials, Technical Officers or other players
• Deliberate delays or unsporting tactics and behavior
HEALTH AND SAFETY
• While the Event Organiser will ensure a safe and well-organised environment,
participants are expected to be responsible for their own health and fitness to compete
in the tournament.
• By participating, participants acknowledge and accept the risks associated with
pickleball and agree not to hold the Organiser or its organising committee liable for any
injuries sustained during the event.
PADDLES / EQUIPMENT
All paddles must be on the following;
• USA Equipment Approved List (https://equipment.usapickleball.org/) ; or
• UPA-A Approved Paddles List (https://upaa.unitedpickleball.com/approved-paddles/)
If any player believes a paddle is not USAP or UPA-A approved or does not otherwise
comply with all paddle rules, the player is allowed to summon the Head Referee or
Tournament Director to determine if the paddle is legal for play. Challenges can only be
made before or during the match. Previous matches will be unaffected.
REGISTRATION / CHECK IN
• All participants are required to register / check-in at the registration / tournament desk
at least 1 hour before the scheduled event / time.
• Identification documents (i.e. NRIC or Passport) must be presented during check-in for
verification purposes. A waiver form must be signed as well.
DRESS CODE
• Participants must wear proper sporting attire and non-marking court shoes. Slippers,
flip-flops or sandals are not allowed on the courts.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION
• Any disputes must be raised immediately with the Referee or Tournament Director
during the match.
• Only valid disputes regarding score discrepancies or rule violations will be considered,
and no retrospective challenges will be entertained.
CLASH OF MATCHES
• In the event of a clash in matches, players are required to choose only 1 match to play
and the other match will be deemed as forfeited with a walkover given to the opponent.
MATCH DURATION, WARM-UP & WALKOVERS
• Each match will have a maximum duration of 20 minutes. The match will be stopped
immediately when the time cap of 20 minutes is reached, regardless of the score, or
earlier if one team wins by reaching 11 points.
• In the event of a tie or incomplete game at the end of the time cap, the winner will be
determined by a sudden death rally—the team that wins the next point will be declared
the winner.
• Players will be allowed 1 minute to warm up before the start of the match. This warm-up
period is included within the 20-minute time cap.
• A 5-minute grace period will be granted from the scheduled start time of each match.
Failure of the player or team to report for the match within the designated time may
result in a walkover and recorded loss.
• Players are required to stay around the designated courts during the Group / Round
Robin stage as the matches will run consecutively to ensure a smooth tournament.
• All players are responsible for checking match schedules and monitoring their
progression in the tournament.
• The Tournament Officials are not obligated to contact players who have left the venue
prematurely.
SCORES
Scores will be confirmed with the players immediately after each match by the assigned
Technical Officer. Discrepancies must be raised at that time and any disputes will be
settled immediately thereafter. Once the scores have been officially recorded, no further
appeals will be entertained.
TIE-BREAKING CRITERIA (GROUP STAGE)
In the event that two or more teams are tied on points at the conclusion of the group stage,
the following criteria shall be applied in order to determine group standings:
• Head-to-Head Result: If the tie persists, the result of the head-to-head match between
the tied teams shall determine the higher-ranked team.
• Points Difference: The team with the higher points difference (i.e., total points scored
minus total points conceded across all group matches) shall be ranked higher.
MEDICAL TIMEOUTS
• The maximum duration is 5 minutes, including evaluation.
• A match may be resumed if the player is deemed fit to continue playing.
• If not, the player/team will forfeit the match.
ROLE OF TECHNICAL OFFICERS
• Each court will have an assigned Technical Officer (“TO”) throughout the match.
• The responsibilities of Technical Officers include:
➢ Ensuring timely start of matches
➢ Reporting match scores and outcomes
➢ Monitoring conduct and resolving procedural issues
➢ Noting disputes and alerting the Tournament Desk
Please be respectful to your Technical Officers at all times. They are there to support fair
play and ensure the tournament runs smoothly. Any disrespectful behavior may result in a
warning or disciplinary action.
LINE JUDGES
• In the finals or selected matches, line judges may be appointed.
• They are responsible for only calling the lines assigned to them and may use hand
signals in addition to verbal calls.
• In the event of a player appealing the line call, the referee will consult the line judge and
make a call. The referee’s decision will be final.
LINE CALLS
• Players are responsible for making all line calls on their side of the court unless a
certified referee or line judge is present and the match has been designated as
officiated.
• A ball is in if it touches any part of the line.
• “When in doubt, call it in.” (Rule 6.D.3)
• Players must not call a ball out unless they clearly see space between the line and the
ball.
• If both partners on a team disagree on whether a ball was out, the ball is considered in.
• Players may not call balls on the opponent’s side of the court, doing so may result in
official warnings.
• Spectators should refrain from making line calls and should in no way influence the
decision of the players or line judges (if any).
Players may politely and briefly question a line call made by their opponents. However, they
may not demand a reversal or overrule unless a qualified referee is present and the match
is officiated.
Persistent arguing, confrontational behavior, or repeated disputes over calls made on the
opponent’s side may be considered unsportsmanlike conduct and may result in a verbal
warning, technical foul, or disqualification at the discretion of the Tournament Director or
Head Referee. Intentional dishonest behavior or pattern of bad-faith calls will be escalated
to the Referee / Tournament Director and may result in suspension from the tournament.
SERVICE & NO VOLLEY ZONE (KITCHEN) FOOT FAULT ENFORCEMENT
While Technical Officers are not certified referees, they are authorized to stop play and call
the following clear infractions:
• Service foot faults, such as stepping on or across the baseline during the serve.
• Obvious No Volley Zone (Kitchen) foot faults committed during a volley.
If a Technical Officers calls a fault, the point is awarded to the opposing team. These calls
are final and non-appealable. Repeated challenges to Technical Officers decisions may
result in conduct warnings or penalties.
IN-GAME DISPUTES & CHALLENGES
If a disagreement arises (e.g., line call, score dispute, or procedural confusion), players
must:
• First attempt to resolve it respectfully among themselves.
• If unresolved, the Technical Officers may pause the match and escalate the issue to
the Tournament Director
Players must not delay the match indefinitely. Repeated refusal to continue with the match
may result in a default or forfeit.
COACHING RESTRICTIONS
• Coaching is not allowed during a game or between points.
• Coaching is only permitted between games (e.g. between Game 1 and 2 in best-of-3).
• Any coaching during active play may result in a verbal warning, escalating to point
penalties.
TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR MOTHERSHIP TRAINING PROGRAM
• Training sessions will be scheduled by Mothership and will run for 2 hours, 3 times per week. Winners must be able to commit to the full training schedule.
• Participants with less than 75% attendance may be disqualified from the program.
• If a winning participant cannot commit to the schedule, their spot will be offered to the next eligible candidate.
• Mothership reserves the right to make the final decision on program participation.

HEALTH AND SAFETY
• While the Event Organiser will ensure a safe and well-organised environment,
participants are expected to be responsible for their own health and fitness to compete

injuries sustained during the event.
PADDLES / EQUIPMENT
All paddles must be on the following;
• USA Equipment Approved List (https://equipment.usapickleball.org/) ; or
• UPA-A Approved Paddles List (https://upaa.unitedpickleball.com/approved-paddles/)
If any player believes a paddle is not USAP or UPA-A approved or does not otherwise
comply with all paddle rules, the player is allowed to summon the Head Referee or
Tournament Director to determine if the paddle is legal for play. Challenges can only be
made before or during the match. Previous matches will be unaffected.
REGISTRATION / CHECK IN
• All participants are required to register / check-in at the registration / tournament desk
at least 1 hour before the scheduled event / time.
• Identification documents (i.e. NRIC or Passport) must be presented during check-in for
verification purposes. A waiver form must be signed as well.
DRESS CODE
• Participants must wear proper sporting attire and non-marking court shoes. Slippers,
flip-flops or sandals are not allowed on the courts.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION
• Any disputes must be raised immediately with the Referee or Tournament Director
during the match.
• Only valid disputes regarding score discrepancies or rule violations will be considered,
and no retrospective challenges will be entertained.
CLASH OF MATCHES
• In the event of a clash in matches, players are required to choose only 1 match to play
and the other match will be deemed as forfeited with a walkover given to the opponent.
MATCH DURATION, WARM-UP & WALKOVERS
• Each match will have a maximum duration of 20 minutes. The match will be stopped
immediately when the time cap of 20 minutes is reached, regardless of the score, or
earlier if one team wins by reaching 11 points.
• In the event of a tie or incomplete game at the end of the time cap, the winner will be
determined by a sudden death rally—the team that wins the next point will be declared
the winner.
• Players will be allowed 1 minute to warm up before the start of the match. This warm-up
period is included within the 20-minute time cap.
• A 5-minute grace period will be granted from the scheduled start time of each match.
Failure of the player or team to report for the match within the designated time may
result in a walkover and recorded loss.
• Players are required to stay around the designated courts during the Group / Round
Robin stage as the matches will run consecutively to ensure a smooth tournament.
• All players are responsible for checking match schedules and monitoring their
progression in the tournament.
• The Tournament Officials are not obligated to contact players who have left the venue
prematurely.
SCORES
Scores will be confirmed with the players immediately after each match by the assigned
Technical Officer. Discrepancies must be raised at that time and any disputes will be
settled immediately thereafter. Once the scores have been officially recorded, no further

TIE-BREAKING CRITERIA (GROUP STAGE)
In the event that two or more teams are tied on points at the conclusion of the group stage,
the following criteria shall be applied in order to determine group standings:
• Head-to-Head Result: If the tie persists, the result of the head-to-head match between

• Points Difference: The team with the higher points difference (i.e., total points scored

• They are responsible for only calling the lines assigned to them and may use hand
signals in addition to verbal calls.
• In the event of a player appealing the line call, the referee will consult the line judge and
make a call. The referee’s decision will be final.
LINE CALLS
• Players are responsible for making all line calls on their side of the court unless a
certified referee or line judge is present and the match has been designated as
officiated.
• A ball is in if it touches any part of the line.
• “When in doubt, call it in.” (Rule 6.D.3)
• Players must not call a ball out unless they clearly see space between the line and the
ball.
• If both partners on a team disagree on whether a ball was out, the ball is considered in.
• Players may not call balls on the opponent’s side of the court, doing so may result in

While Technical Officers are not certified referees, they are authorized to stop play and call
the following clear infractions:
• Service foot faults, such as stepping on or across the baseline during the serve.
• Obvious No Volley Zone (Kitchen) foot faults committed during a volley.
If a Technical Officers calls a fault, the point is awarded to the opposing team. These calls
are final and non-appealable. Repeated challenges to Technical Officers decisions may
result in conduct warnings or penalties.
IN-GAME DISPUTES & CHALLENGES
If a disagreement arises (e.g., line call, score dispute, or procedural confusion), players
must:
• First attempt to resolve it respectfully among themselves.
• If unresolved, the Technical Officers may pause the match and escalate the issue to

By participating, players and spectators’ consent to being photographed or filmed during
the event. Media may be used for promotional, social media, or sponsor purposes.

• Players with NO RATING are to self-evaluate their level. However, their participation is
at the discretion of the tournament director.
• DUPR Ratings must be below 3.500 with a minimum reliability of 50% at the time of
registration.
• It is prohibited to have multiple DUPR accounts or use specific accounts for specific
categories. Reports will be made to DUPR.
• Purposely lowering your DUPR rating by submitting fake matches will result in
disqualification or a ban from partaking in the tournament. Reports will be made to
DUPR.
• These guidelines & eligibility requirements have been reviewed by DUPR.
WITHDRAWALS
Players who wish to withdraw must notify the Tournament Organizer in writing (email or
WhatsApp) as early as possible.
• Withdrawals made before the close of registration may be eligible for a partial refund.
• No refunds will be issued for withdrawals made after draw has been done, unless due
to documented medical reasons and approved by the Tournament Director.
PARTNER REPLACEMENTS (DOUBLES ONLY)
If a player is unable to compete, a replacement may be allowed prior to the start of the first
match, subject to the following:
• A valid reason with documented proof must be provided for the replacement to be
permitted (e.g. injuries, sickness or emergencies).
• The replacement must meet the eligibility and rating criteria of the division entered.
• The change must be approved by the Tournament Director. If the change affects the
seeding of top players, it may be rejected.
• Once a team has played their first match, no replacements are allowed.
NO-SHOW POLICY
Players who withdraw without notice or fail to show up for scheduled matches may be
suspended from the tournaments.
PLAYER CONDUCT
All participants must demonstrate good sportsmanship and respect for the Tournament
Officials, Technical Officers, Referees, Event crew, spectators and of course, other players.
Prohibited behavior includes:

Players who wish to withdraw must notify the Tournament Organizer in writing (email or
WhatsApp) as early as possible.
• Withdrawals made before the close of registration may be eligible for a partial refund.
• No refunds will be issued for withdrawals made after draw has been done, unless due
to documented medical reasons and approved by the Tournament Director.
PARTNER REPLACEMENTS (DOUBLES ONLY)
If a player is unable to compete, a replacement may be allowed prior to the start of the first
match, subject to the following:
• A valid reason with documented proof must be provided for the replacement to be
permitted (e.g. injuries, sickness or emergencies).
• The replacement must meet the eligibility and rating criteria of the division entered.
• The change must be approved by the Tournament Director. If the change affects the
seeding of top players, it may be rejected.
• Once a team has played their first match, no replacements are allowed.
NO-SHOW POLICY
Players who withdraw without notice or fail to show up for scheduled matches may be
suspended from the tournaments.
PLAYER CONDUCT
All participants must demonstrate good sportsmanship and respect for the Tournament
Officials, Technical Officers, Referees, Event crew, spectators and of course, other players.
Prohibited behavior includes:
• Racist remarks, swearing, spitting, taunting, trash talk
• Slamming paddles or balls in anger
• Persistent arguing with Tournament Officials, Technical Officers or other players
• Deliberate delays or unsporting tactics and behavior
HEALTH AND SAFETY
• While the Event Organiser will ensure a safe and well-organised environment,
participants are expected to be responsible for their own health and fitness to compete
in the tournament.
• By participating, participants acknowledge and accept the risks associated with
pickleball and agree not to hold the Organiser or its organising committee liable for any
injuries sustained during the event.
PADDLES / EQUIPMENT
All paddles must be on the following;
• USA Equipment Approved List (https://equipment.usapickleball.org/) ; or
• UPA-A Approved Paddles List (https://upaa.unitedpickleball.com/approved-paddles/)
If any player believes a paddle is not USAP or UPA-A approved or does not otherwise
comply with all paddle rules, the player is allowed to summon the Head Referee or
Tournament Director to determine if the paddle is legal for play. Challenges can only be
made before or during the match. Previous matches will be unaffected.
REGISTRATION / CHECK IN
• All participants are required to register / check-in at the registration / tournament desk
at least 1 hour before the scheduled event / time.
• Identification documents (i.e. NRIC or Passport) must be presented during check-in for
verification purposes. A waiver form must be signed as well.
DRESS CODE
• Participants must wear proper sporting attire and non-marking court shoes. Slippers,
flip-flops or sandals are not allowed on the courts.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION
• Any disputes must be raised immediately with the Referee or Tournament Director
during the match.
• Only valid disputes regarding score discrepancies or rule violations will be considered,
and no retrospective challenges will be entertained.
CLASH OF MATCHES
• In the event of a clash in matches, players are required to choose only 1 match to play
and the other match will be deemed as forfeited with a walkover given to the opponent.
MATCH DURATION, WARM-UP & WALKOVERS
• Each match will have a maximum duration of 20 minutes. The match will be stopped
immediately when the time cap of 20 minutes is reached, regardless of the score, or
earlier if one team wins by reaching 11 points.
• In the event of a tie or incomplete game at the end of the time cap, the winner will be
determined by a sudden death rally—the team that wins the next point will be declared
the winner.
• Players will be allowed 1 minute to warm up before the start of the match. This warm-up
period is included within the 20-minute time cap.
• A 5-minute grace period will be granted from the scheduled start time of each match.
Failure of the player or team to report for the match within the designated time may
result in a walkover and recorded loss.
• Players are required to stay around the designated courts during the Group / Round
Robin stage as the matches will run consecutively to ensure a smooth tournament.
• All players are responsible for checking match schedules and monitoring their
progression in the tournament.
• The Tournament Officials are not obligated to contact players who have left the venue
prematurely.
SCORES
Scores will be confirmed with the players immediately after each match by the assigned
Technical Officer. Discrepancies must be raised at that time and any disputes will be
settled immediately thereafter. Once the scores have been officially recorded, no further
appeals will be entertained.
TIE-BREAKING CRITERIA (GROUP STAGE)
In the event that two or more teams are tied on points at the conclusion of the group stage,
the following criteria shall be applied in order to determine group standings:
• Head-to-Head Result: If the tie persists, the result of the head-to-head match between
the tied teams shall determine the higher-ranked team.
• Points Difference: The team with the higher points difference (i.e., total points scored
minus total points conceded across all group matches) shall be ranked higher.
MEDICAL TIMEOUTS
• The maximum duration is 5 minutes, including evaluation.
• A match may be resumed if the player is deemed fit to continue playing.
• If not, the player/team will forfeit the match.
ROLE OF TECHNICAL OFFICERS
• Each court will have an assigned Technical Officer (“TO”) throughout the match.
• The responsibilities of Technical Officers include:
➢ Ensuring timely start of matches
➢ Reporting match scores and outcomes
➢ Monitoring conduct and resolving procedural issues
➢ Noting disputes and alerting the Tournament Desk
Please be respectful to your Technical Officers at all times. They are there to support fair
play and ensure the tournament runs smoothly. Any disrespectful behavior may result in a
warning or disciplinary action.
LINE JUDGES
• In the finals or selected matches, line judges may be appointed.
• They are responsible for only calling the lines assigned to them and may use hand
signals in addition to verbal calls.
• In the event of a player appealing the line call, the referee will consult the line judge and
make a call. The referee’s decision will be final.
LINE CALLS
• Players are responsible for making all line calls on their side of the court unless a
certified referee or line judge is present and the match has been designated as
officiated.
• A ball is in if it touches any part of the line.
• “When in doubt, call it in.” (Rule 6.D.3)
• Players must not call a ball out unless they clearly see space between the line and the
ball.
• If both partners on a team disagree on whether a ball was out, the ball is considered in.
• Players may not call balls on the opponent’s side of the court, doing so may result in
official warnings.
• Spectators should refrain from making line calls and should in no way influence the
decision of the players or line judges (if any).
Players may politely and briefly question a line call made by their opponents. However, they
may not demand a reversal or overrule unless a qualified referee is present and the match
is officiated.
Persistent arguing, confrontational behavior, or repeated disputes over calls made on the
opponent’s side may be considered unsportsmanlike conduct and may result in a verbal
warning, technical foul, or disqualification at the discretion of the Tournament Director or
Head Referee. Intentional dishonest behavior or pattern of bad-faith calls will be escalated
to the Referee / Tournament Director and may result in suspension from the tournament.
SERVICE & NO VOLLEY ZONE (KITCHEN) FOOT FAULT ENFORCEMENT
While Technical Officers are not certified referees, they are authorized to stop play and call
the following clear infractions:
• Service foot faults, such as stepping on or across the baseline during the serve.
• Obvious No Volley Zone (Kitchen) foot faults committed during a volley.
If a Technical Officers calls a fault, the point is awarded to the opposing team. These calls
are final and non-appealable. Repeated challenges to Technical Officers decisions may
result in conduct warnings or penalties.
IN-GAME DISPUTES & CHALLENGES
If a disagreement arises (e.g., line call, score dispute, or procedural confusion), players
must:
• First attempt to resolve it respectfully among themselves.
• If unresolved, the Technical Officers may pause the match and escalate the issue to
the Tournament Director
Players must not delay the match indefinitely. Repeated refusal to continue with the match
may result in a default or forfeit.
COACHING RESTRICTIONS
• Coaching is not allowed during a game or between points.
• Coaching is only permitted between games (e.g. between Game 1 and 2 in best-of-3).
• Any coaching during active play may result in a verbal warning, escalating to point
penalties.
TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR MOTHERSHIP TRAINING PROGRAM
• Training sessions will be scheduled by Mothership and will run for 2 hours, 3 times per week. Winners must be able to commit to the full training schedule.
• Participants with less than 75% attendance may be disqualified from the program.
• If a winning participant cannot commit to the schedule, their spot will be offered to the next eligible candidate.
• Mothership reserves the right to make the final decision on program participation.
