Golden Dragon Boat (GDB) is delighted to present the Golden Dragon Boat 金龙船 (GDB) Pickleball Tournament, a joyful and energetic celebration in the spirit of the upcoming Chinese New Year. For over 30 years, our seafood restaurant has been a place where families gather, share meals, and create precious memories together. At GDB, we believe that the best gatherings are filled not just with good food but with heartfelt laughter, genuine connection, and the warmth of family love. 🐉GDB Pickleball Tournament takes place at Hyprground - Kuchai, with amazing prices and merchandise up to RM11,400.

📝 Registration Details

1. Entry Fee : RM250 per pair. (Complimentary RM250 GDB cash voucher + RM220 GDB Yee Sang voucher, NO MIN SPEND!!)
2. Simple register and make your payment through Sports Sync Asia. Physical voucher will be provided on event day.
3. Registration closing date : 26th January 2025, Wednesday.
4. T-shirt: Participants register after 8th January 2026 will get L size.

Golden Dragon Boat Restaurant — Voucher Terms & Conditions

1. Voucher is valid from 1 February 2026 to 28 February 2026 and is eligible for one (1) time use only.

2. Valid only for the Chinese New Year Menu and not applicable for the Chinese New Year Eve Menu.

3. A maximum of one (1) RM125 GDB cash voucher per transaction is allowed, and no bill splitting is permitted for customers at the same table.

4. RM125 cash voucher and Yee Sang voucher can be used together in a single visit.

5.For transactions exceeding the voucher value, customers are required to pay the balance. No refund will be provided for transactions below the voucher value.

6. Voucher is non-transferable, non-refundable, not exchangeable for cash, and cannot be used with other promotions or discounted items.

7. Lost vouchers will not be replaced.

8. Golden Dragon Boat Restaurant re the right to amend these Terms & Conditions without prior notice.

Novice (<3.099)

• Men's Doubles — 64 teams
• Mixed Doubles — 64 teams
• Women's Doubles — 32 teams

💰 Prize Pool (MD, WD, XD)

• Ist Place : RM2,000 cash
• 2nd Place : RM1,200 cash
• 3rd Place : RM600 cash
• Total per Category: RM3,800 cash

🧮 Scoring Format

• Round Robin to Quarterfinals : Rally scoring to 15 points (sudden death at 14-14, switch sides at 8th point).
• Semifinals : Rally scoring to 21 points (serve to win at 20-20, switch sides at 11th point).
• Finals & 3rd/4th Playoff : Rally scoring to 15 points (serve to win at 14-14, only 3rd game switch sides at 11th point), Best of 3 games.

📌 Eligibility

• Players with a verified DUPR rating below 3.099.
• Rating will be based on the time of registration.
• Players with NR rating will be considered as 3.000.
• Reliability score of DUPR Rating must higher than 60%.

🚫 Disqualification Policy

1. Players found to have multiple DUPR accounts at any time with different ratings will be disqualified.

2. Registration fees will not be refunded for disqualified players.

🚨 Match Regulations

1. Punctuality 
2. Players must register 30 minutes before the game start. 
3. Players will be forfeit for the whole matches, if failure to register after the assigned match start.
4. Warm-Up & Walkovers
5. Players are allowed 1 minutes to warm up after being instructed by the point guard or referee.
6. Matches must begin within 3 minutes of the scheduled start or when called.
7. A 5-minute grace period applies. Failure to arrive within 5 minutes of match start may result in a walkover and recorded loss.
8. Medical Timeouts
9. A 10-minute injury timeout will be allowed. If a player cannot continue afterward, it will be considered a forfeit.
10. Partner Replacements 
11. If a player is unable to compete, a replacement may be allowed prior to the group stage draw, subject to the following:
12. The replacement must meet the eligibility and rating criteria.
13. The change must be approved by the Tournament Director. If the change affects the seeding of top players, it may be rejected.
14. DUPR submission
15. All match results will be recorded and submitted via Sport Sync.

🎥 Media Release / Consent of Photography & Videography

By participating, players and spectators consent to being photographed or filmed during the event. Media may be used for promotional, social media, or sponsor purposes.

⚠️ Disclaimer

1. All registration fees are non-refundable, except in the event of tournament cancellation or postponement.
2. In the event of cancellation, a full refund will be issued to all registered players.
3. In the event of postponement, registered teams may opt to retain their slot for the rescheduled date or request a full refund.
4. The organizer reserves the exclusive right to make final determinations regarding player eligibility, match regulations, and any modifications to the tournament details or format.
5. Participants are responsible for ensuring they are medically and physically fit to compete.
6. The organizer shall bear no liability for injuries, damages, or losses incurred during the event. Participation is undertaken entirely at the player’s own risk.
7. Players who fail to check in on time may be disqualified without refund.
8. All decisions made by referees and organizer are final.
