DUPR Rating Requirement:

- All participants must have a DUPR rating below & 2.7999 Beginner Novice 

- All match results will be recorded and submitted to DUPR.

- Players must register on the Sportssync.asia platform and ensure their DUPR rating is synced.

Age Eligibility:

- The tournament is open to all age groups.

DUPR Rating Lock:

- A player's DUPR rating at the time of registration will determine eligibility. Any changes to the rating after registration will not affect eligibility.

Tournament Format & Rules:

Account Integrity:

- Using fake accounts is strictly prohibited. If discovered , you will be disqualified.

Punctuality:

- Players must report to their assigned courts on time.

- Failure to appear within 10 minutes of a match being called will result in a forfeit due to "no-show” , absent will automatically forfeit.

Group Format:

- 5 teams per group, with a total of 8 groups.

Round Robin Format

- Matches will be played to 21 points using rally scoring. No deuce; sudden death applies.

Group Stage Matches:

- Each team will play 4 matches within their group.

Advancement:

- The top 2 teams from each group will advance to the Round of 16

Knockout Rounds:

- Quarterfinals & Semifinals: First to 21 points, Rally . 20 - 20 Tie + 2

- 3rd Place Match: Standard Best of 3 Format {0-0-2} 11 point

- FINAL Match :Standard best-of-3 format (0-0-2) 11 point

Injury Time:

- A 15-minute injury timeout will be allowed. If a player cannot continue afterward, it will be considered a forfeit.

Prizes:

🥇1st Place: RM 1200 + Medal 

🥈2nd Place: RM 600 + Medal

🥉3rd Place: RM 300 + Medal

   4th Place : RM 200 + Medal 

Prize Money Policy : 

-Prize money is guaranteed only in the event of full participation.

-Should there be insufficient participation, prize amounts will be prorated proportionally based on the number of confirmed participants.

Facilities:

Shower facilities will be available for participants.

Payment Instructions:

- Registration fees should be paid to RCN FRIENDLY PICKLEBALL CLUB ( https://payment.tngdigital.com.my/sc/bDLocVzYV7 )via Touch 'n Go.

Confirmation:

- Participants who have not yet paid must do so to secure their slot. Once payment is received and confirmed, the player will be marked as "Confirmed."

Check-In Time:

- All players must arrive before 6:30 PM for registration & Verify Approved Paddles to Tournament. If a team member is more than 15 minutes late, the team will be disqualified.

For all DUPR Rated Categories:

➡️Must submit a valid DUPR ID on registration.

➡️NR players are to self-evaluate their level, however their participation is at discretion of the tournament director.

➡️DUPR Ratings with a reliability less than 10% will be considered “NR”.

➡️Using 2nd / fake accounts is strictly prohibited. If discovered, you will be disqualified or ban from the tournament.

➡️Purposely lowering your DUPR rating by submitting fake matches will result in disqualification or ban from partaking in the tournament and a report to DUPR will be made.

➡️All match results will be recorded and submitted via Sport Sync.

Paddles/Equipments Requirement:

➡️ Only USAPA-approved and UPA-A-approved paddles are allowed. Paddles such as the Joola Mot TA 15, OEM, or other non-certified paddles will not be accepted for tournament play. All match results will be recorded and submitted to DUPR.

Partner Replacements (Doubles Only)

➡️If a player is unable to compete, a replacement may be allowed prior to the start of the first match, subject to the following:

🚨The replacement must meet the eligibility and rating criteria of the division entered.

🚨The change must be approved by the Tournament Director. If the change affects the seeding of top players, it may be rejected.
