Serdang Cup Pickleball Tournament 2025

Join us for an exciting weekend of pickleball action at The Pickle Vibe @ Seri Kembangan! Part of the Sports Carnival, our tournament offers four thrilling event categories open to all pickleball enthusiasts.

Tournament Categories & Registration

On 28 June 2025 (Saturday) - Novice category
Men’s Doubles (Novice category for DUPR below 3.0) (8am -2pm)
Mixed Doubles (Novice category for DUPR below 3.0) (2.30pm - 9.30pm)

On 29 June 2025 (Sunday) - Intermediate category
Men’s Doubles (Intermediate category for DUPR 3.0 to 3.5) (8am -2pm)
Mixed Doubles (Intermediate category for DUPR 3.0 to 3.5) (2.30pm - 9.30pm)

Each category accepts only a maximum of 40 teams. First come, first serve basis according to payment made.
Both players need to sign up an account in Sports Sync in order to complete the registration.
DUPR rating must be fulfilled upon the point of registration.
Players with no DUPR rating (i.e. NR) can still join however, an investigation will be carried out in the event where:
1. Other players files a report to complain that the NR participant intentionally lower their DUPR rating or register a new account to participant in a lower category.
2. Referees / organizers suspect that the participant intentionally lower their DUPR rating or register a new account to participant in a lower category.
All players are expected to join with integrity. Substitution of players, creation of sub-account, manipulation of DUPR ratings are NOT allowed and in such cases, the organizer has the right to disqualify the team from playing in this tournament.
No refund will be made after registration is completed.

Tournament Format

Group Stage (Round Robin)
1 game to 15 rally points
Top 2 teams from each group will advance to Knockout Stage

Knockout Stage (Elimination)
Round of 16 → Round of 8 → Semi-Finals → Finals and 3rd Place
Round of 16 & Round of 8: 1 game to 15 rally points
Semi-Finals: 1 game to 21 rally points
Finals & 3rd Place: Best of 3 games, 15 rally points per game

One (1) minute timeout is allowed per team per game.
Court sides switch upon 8 points for games to 15 points, and upon 11 points for games to 21 points.
All games is in sudden death format, no serve to win & no deuce.

🥇 Champion: RM 1,200 + Trophy & Medal
🥈 Runner-up: RM 850 + Medal
🥉 Third Place: RM 450 + Medal

For Novice Category
🥇 Champion: RM 1,000 + Trophy & Medal
🥈 Runner-up: RM 700 + Medal
🥉 Third Place: RM 350 + Medal

- One minute warm-up after players are called to enter the game.
- Matches must start within 5 minutes.
- 5-minute grace period for late arrivals.
- Failure to show up results in a walkover.
