• ⚡ Combined DUPR 5.88: RM198 per pair
• This category is strictly for novice players only. Professional, advanced, or non-novice players are not permitted to register.
• ⭐ Combined DUPR 7.28: RM238 per pair

**To ensure fair game, all registrations are subject to the Tournament Director’s approval.

The name list will be announced one week prior to the tournament.

Any player found to be manipulating DUPR ratings through social games will be immediately disqualified, and the registration fee will be non-refundable.*

• ⚡ Combined DUPR 5.88: Maximum DUPR for one of the partners is 3.2 only, NR participants are treated as 2.7 DUPR
• ⭐ Combined DUPR 7.28: Maximum DUPR for one of the partners is 3.99 only. NR participants are treated as 3.5 DUPR

🏓 Tournament Format

🔸 Tournament Structure

• Group Stage: Round-robin format within each group.
• Knockout Stage: Top two teams from each group advance to single elimination.
• Format Adjustments: May be made based on total participants.
• Seeding: There will not be seedings done for this tournament as it is regulated via combined DUPR t Tournament Director’s discretion.

🧮 Scoring Format

Group Stage up till Quarter Finals

• All matches will use the rally format.
• Applies to ALL categories.
• Each game is played to 21 points, switching sides at 11 points.
• No Deuce — Sudden Death applies at 20-20.
• Standard scoring rules apply unless otherwise stated by the Tournament Director.

Semi Finals & Finals

• All matches will use the rally format.
• Applies to ALL categories.
• Best of 3 games format.
• Each game is played to 15 points, switching sides at 8 points.
• Deuce applies at 14–14 where teams MUST win by 2 points, maximum cap at 18 points.
• Standard scoring rules apply unless otherwise stated by the Tournament Director.

🔗 Tie-Breaking Criteria (Group Stage)

If two or more teams have identical win–loss records, the ranking will be determined in this order:

1. Total Point Differential – Points scored minus points conceded across all group matches.
2. Head-to-Head Result – Applied only if exactly two teams are tied.
3. Total Points Scored – Total accumulated points across all group matches.

⚖️ Match Regulations

🧑‍⚖️ Refereeing

• Group Stage to Quarterfinals: Self-refereed matches, Technical officers are only present to start the matches and record the final score of the result.
• A Match Official will be available for disputes and challenges.
• Semifinals and Finals: Officiated by appointed referees.

📏 Line Calls

• The receiving team is responsible for line calls on their side.
• Disputed calls may be referred to the Match Official if both teams agree.
• If the official cannot determine the outcome, the rally will be replayed.

🗣️ Serve Rules

• The serving team must announce the score clearly and audibly before serving.
• Failure to do so allows the receiving team to request a re-serve.
• The server must ensure the receiving team is ready before serving.

⚖️ Tournament Director’s Decision

All disputes, interpretations, and final decisions regarding rules, format, or conduct will be made at the sole discretion of the Tournament Director, and such decisions are final and binding.

This Is NOT a DUPR-Rated Tournament

This tournament IS NOT a DUPR recorded tournament, and all match results will NOT be submitted to DUPR. However, DUPR ratings of registrations is still strictly vetted/upheld to ensure category fairness/integrity as much as possible to ensure fair and competitive playing.
