Bliss Cup has built a strong tournament reputation through its successful 2025 series, delivering high-quality competition and an exceptional player experience. Entering its 6th edition in April 2026 as the Veteran Masters Edition, the tournament continues to implement strict qualification screening and structured eligibility control to ensure fair and meaningful competition among veteran players.

The 2025 series recorded 100% on-time match execution and consistently achieved 5-star participant satisfaction ratings. It is recognised for disciplined schedule management, professional operations, and a well-organised competitive environment.

The 2026 edition aims to further strengthen its position as a leading pickleball tournament by enhancing competitive integrity, refining match structures, and elevating overall participant engagement within the veteran community.

•      8AM – 12.30PM       : Men’s Doubles Novice (DUPR ≤3.000) Age 40+

•      12.30PM – 4PM       : Mixed Doubles Novice (DUPR ≤3.000) Age 40+

•      4PM – 8.30PM         : Men’s Doubles Open Age 40+

•      8.30PM – 11PM       : Mixed Doubles Open Age 40+

•      8AM – 12.30PM       : Men’s Doubles Open Combined Age 100+

•      12.30PM – 5PM       : Mixed Doubles Open Combined Age 100+

•      5PM – 8.30PM         : Men’s Doubles Open Age 50+

•      8.30PM – 11PM       : Women’s Doubles Open Age 40+

⏰ Punctuality Policy

•      Players must arrive and complete registration check-in at least 30 minutes before the respective category start time.

•      Late arrival may result in walkover or disqualification without refund.

3. AGE ELIGIBILITY

🧩 Age Determination

•      Age eligibility is strictly based on year of birth

•      Age 40+: Born in 1986 or earlier

•      Age 45+: Born in 1981 or earlier

•      Age 50+: Born in 1976 or earlier

🧩 Combined Age 100+

•      Combined age must total at least 100 years

•      Minimum age 45+ for each player

4. NOVICE CATEGORY REQUIREMENTS (DUPR ≤ 3.000)

Applicable to:

·     Men’s Doubles Novice Age 40+

·     Mixed Doubles Novice Age 40+

📌 DUPR Eligibility

·     DUPR range: 2.000 – 3.000

·     Maximum eligible rating: 3.000

·     Reliability ≥ 60%

·     NR (No Rating) players are not eligible

·     Valid DUPR ID must be submitted

5. DUPR INTEGRITY & COMPLIANCE

•      This is a DUPR-rated tournament

•      Match results will be submitted to DUPR

•      Organiser reserves the right to verify rating authenticity

•      Eligibility must be self-checked before payment

•      Immediate disqualification without refund applies for:

o  Fake, duplicated, deleted, or recreated DUPR accounts

o  Rating manipulation or suspicious match activity

o  Submission of false or misleading information

•      Disqualification may occur before, during, or after the tournament

Note: Screening is not limited to the rating displayed at registration. The Organiser may review:

• Current DUPR rating
• Historical rating movement
• Pre-registration rating history
• Irregular or abrupt rating decline
• Post-tournament rating behaviour
• Reliability score and match activity record

Where rating inconsistency or competitive misrepresentation is reasonably identified, the Organiser may:

• Reject the entry
• Reassign the player to a higher category
• Disqualify the player without refund

The Organiser reserves full authority to determine suitability of entry in the interest of competitive integrity.

6. REGISTRATION POLICY

•      RM200 per team

•      Includes official jersey and goodies

📌 Payment Policy

•      Eligibility must be self-checked and self-confirmed before payment

•      Registration is strictly non-refundable after payment

•      No cancellation is permitted after payment

•      Refund applies only if event is officially cancelled by organiser

8. TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE & SCORING FORMAT

📌 Group Stage

•      Participant teams will be divided into 4 groups, 5 teams per group, 4 group matches per team

•      Round robin format.

•      Rally scoring to 13 points (first to 13 wins)

•      No deuce. Sudden death applies at 12–12.

•      Switch sides at 7 points

•      No timeout allowed

•      Top 2 teams from each group will advance to the Knockout Stage.

•      Format may be adjusted based on participation level.

📌 Tie-Breaking (Group Stage)

Ranking priority:

1. Head-to-head
2. Point differential
3. Total points scored

📌 Quarterfinals , Semifinals, 3^rd Placement & Finals

•      Rally scoring to 15 points (first to 15 wins)

•      Serve-to-win rule applies at 14–14

•      Switch sides at 8 points

•      One 1-minute timeout per team

9. MATCH OFFICIATING

👨‍⚖️ Group Stage to Semifinals

•      Umpires assist scorekeeping and result recording.

•      Umpire calls NVZ violations, service faults, and short serves.

•      Receiving team makes line calls.

•      Disputes should be resolved respectfully.

•      Umpire may issue final decision if visibility is clear.

👨‍⚖️ 3rd Placement & Finals

•      Matches will be officiated by appointed referees.

•      Referee and line judges will make final decisions.

10. TIMEOUT POLICY

•      No timeout allowed for 13-point rally matches.

•      One 1-minute timeout per team is allowed for 15-point rally matches.

•      Injury timeout: Maximum 10 minutes per team per match.

•      Withdrawal applies if player cannot continue.

11. EQUIPMENT & ATTIRE

•      Official ball used: Franklin X-40

•      Sportswear and non-marking sports shoes are required

•      Offensive or inappropriate clothing is prohibited

•      Paddle brand is unrestricted

12. SAFETY & LIABILITY

•      Basic first aid support available

•      No ambulance or medical crew on standby

•      Players are responsible for ensuring medical fitness

•      Players participate at own risk

•      Organiser shall not be liable for injury, loss, damage, or accident

13. GOVERNANCE & ORGANISER RIGHTS

•      The organiser reserves the right to modify schedule, format, categories, or prizes when necessary.

•      The event may be postponed or cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.

•      Postponed events may allow slot retention or refund options.

•      Full refund applies only if the event is cancelled by the organiser.

•      Unsportsmanlike conduct may result in warning, penalty, or disqualification.

•      The Tournament Director’s decision is final and binding.

14. MEDIA CONSENT

•      Participation constitutes consent for photography and video recording

•      Organiser may use media materials for marketing and promotional purposes

•      No compensation shall be payable for such usage

•      Participation indicates acceptance of all tournament rules and policies
