The inaugural GFCBW Pickleball Cup 2026 brings together players, entrepreneurs, and community leaders for a meaningful day of sport, connection, and community engagement. Organised by the Global Federation of Chinese Business Women (Johor Chapter), this tournament celebrates unity, an active lifestyle, and a high-quality competitive experience.

• 📆 Date: 25 April 2026 (Saturday)
• ⏰ Time: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 📍 Venue: 55 Gatheround Pickleball, Kulai
• 🌍 Eligibility: Open to all players

👤 Player Registration Rules

✔ DUPR Policy & Participation Criteria

This event will not be submitted to DUPR.

Participation is limited to players with a DUPR rating below 3.5.

The overall format is designed as a friendly and social competition, encouraging interaction and community bonding, while still maintaining a structured and competitive match environment.

🏆 Team Event

Each team match consists of 4 games:

• 1 Men’s Doubles
• 1 Mixed Doubles
• 1 Mixed Doubles
• 1 Women’s Doubles

Team Requirements:

• 4–6 players

Minimum 4 people to form a team, and a maximum of 6 People

• At least 2 Male & 2 Female
• Max 3 Male & 3 Female

📅 Tentative Schedule

• 8:00 AM – Registration
• 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM → Round Robin
• 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM → Lunch Break
• 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM → Round Robin
• 3:30 PM – 7:00 PM → Quarter & Semi Final and Final

⚠️ Schedule may be adjusted based on tournament progress

🎮 Tournament Format (Team Event)

🔹 Stage 1: League

• 15 points (rally scoring, sudden death)
• 1 set per category

🔹 Stage 2: Knockout

• 15 points (rally scoring, sudden death)
• 1 set per category
• 1 timeout

🔹 Stage 3: Medalled Matches (Final & 3-4 match)

• 21 points
• 1 set per category
• 1 timeout

⚡ Dreambreaker (Tiebreaker)

Used ONLY in the knockout stage when the score = 2–2

• 4-6 players per team
• Each player plays 4 rally points
• Rotation continues until the winner
• No timeout
• Sudden death at 20–20
• Standard singles rules apply

ALL teams are required to submit their official line-up at least one hour before their scheduled match via SPORTSYNC.

Player Lineup

Each team must nominate 4-6 players for the Dreambreaker:

The order must remain fixed once submitted.

⚠️ Match Regulations

• Players must report on time
• 10 minutes late → walkover
• Injury → forfeit
• TO / TD decisions are final

📝 Registration Policy

• First-come, first-served
• Confirmed only upon payment
• No refund / no transfer
• Full refund only if the category is cancelled
• No partner changes after draw (unless approved)
