Calling all pickleball lovers! Get ready for another exciting and fun-filled competition at 55 Gatheround Pickleball! 💥
❤️ Important Note: This is a non-profit tournament dedicated to promoting the sport of pickleball and fostering camaraderie and exchange among players in Kulai and beyond!
📅 Tournament Information
Date: July 4, 2026 (Saturday)
Venue: 55 Gatheround, Kulai, Johor
Rating System: All match results will be officially submitted to the DUPR system.
👥 Categories & Strict Slots Limitation
To ensure a high-quality tournament experience, slots are strictly limited to 32 teams per category on a first-come, first-served basis!
1 Men's Doubles — Max 32 teams
2 Women's Doubles — Max 32 teams
3 Mixed Doubles — Max 32 teams
💡 Eligibility & DUPR Rating Rules (Please Read Carefully)
This tournament is a Combined 6.0 Fun Game:
Combined Cap: The combined DUPR rating of both partners must not exceed 6.001.
No Individual Cap: There is no upper limit for an individual player's rating, as long as the team's combined rating complies with the rule.
Non-Rated (NR) Players: Players without a DUPR profile/rating will be provisionally calculated at a base rating of 3.01.
Special Adjustment for Past Champions:
Any player who has previously won a Champion title in any pickleball tournament but currently has a DUPR below 3.0 (or is an NR player) will automatically be calculated as 3.01 for team combination purposes.
• Players found exceeding category limits may be disqualified without refund.
Tentative Match Schedule
Women's Doubles: 830am - 2pm
Men's Doubles: 830pm - 2pm
Mixed Doubles: 230pm - 6pm

Tournament Format & Scoring
🔹 Scoring System
• Rally Scoring
• No deuce (Sudden Death)
🔹 Match Format
Group Stage (Round Robin):
• 1 game to 15 points
Quarterfinals/Semis:
• 1 game to 15 points
3rd / 4th Place Match:
• Best of 3 games
• Each game to 15 points
Finals:
• Best of 3 games
• Each game to 15 points
➡️ Top 2 teams from each group advance to knockout rounds
➡️ Format adjustments may be made based on participation numbers
Tie-Breaking Criteria (Group Stage)
If two or more teams are tied:
1. Total Point Difference in All Group Matches
2. Total Points Scored
3. Head-to-Head Result
Match Regulations
🔹 Check-In, Punctuality & Walkovers
• Players must check in at least 30 minutes before their first scheduled match.
• A 10-minute grace period applies.
• Teams failing to appear after the grace period will forfeit the match and a walkover will be awarded.
🔹 Medical Timeout
• One 10-minute injury timeout allowed.
• Inability to continue will be considered a forfeit.
Equipment Requirements
Paddles
• Players are responsible for ensuring paddles are safe and suitable for play.
Registration & Deadline
• Registration is first-come, first-served.
• Registration is confirmed only upon full payment.
• Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, except if the tournament is cancelled by the Organiser.
• The Organiser reserves the right to close registration once a category reaches full capacity.
• Full refund only if tournament is cancelled.
Code of Conduct
All participants must:
• Display good sportsmanship at all times
• Respect opponents, referees, officials, and volunteers
• Refrain from abusive language, aggression, or unsportsmanlike behaviour
• The Organiser reserves the right to issue warnings, impose penalties, or disqualify players for misconduct.
Health, Safety & Liability
• Participants compete at their own risk.
• Players are responsible for ensuring they are physically and medically fit to compete.
• The Organiser, venue, and sponsors shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained before, during, or after the event.
• Players must immediately withdraw if instructed by tournament officials or medical personnel.
Prizes Money
• Prize money is guaranteed only with full participation
• In the event of insufficient entries, prizes may be prorated proportionally
Disputes & Appeals
• Any disputes must be raised immediately during the match.
• Only disputes involving scoring or rule interpretation will be considered.
• No retrospective appeals will be entertained once the match or round has concluded.
Media, Photography & Data
• By participating, players consent to the use of their photos, videos, names, and likenesses for promotional and marketing purposes by ATP Club.
• Personal data collected will be used solely for tournament administration, communication, and record-keeping.
⚠️The Organiser reserves the right to amend, modify, or terminate the tournament or its Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. All decisions by the Organiser are final and binding.
