ABOUT PURPLE QUEEN CUP 2.0

Purple Queen Cup 2.0 is a collaboration between Herzclub x fem. x Hyprground, created to grow the female pickleball community in Malaysia.

We want to provide a safe and supportive space for ladies to take their first big step into tournament play, gain experience, meet new friends and enjoy the game together.

🎾 Category: Women’s Doubles — DUPR below 2.699

👥 Total Teams: 48 Teams

🏆 Prizes & Rewards: Cash prizes and medals for Top 3 Teams

RULES & REGULATIONS

1. Scoring: Round Robin, Quarterfinals & Semifinals will use 15-point rally scoring with sudden death. 3rd Placing & Final will use 21-point rally scoring with sudden death.
2. Score Calling: Server must clearly call the score before every serve. Both teams are responsible for confirming the score before play continues.
3. Tiebreaker: In case of a tie in Round Robin standings: Total Point Difference (points scored – points conceded) and Head-to-Head result (if exactly 2 teams are tied)
4. Punctuality: Players must check in at least 30 minutes before their scheduled match. Failure to appear within 10 minutes of the scheduled match time will result in a walkover.
5. Medical Timeout: A maximum 10-minute injury timeout is allowed. If the player cannot continue after the timeout, the match will be forfeited.
6. Partner Replacement: Replacement is allowed only with Tournament Director approval. The replacement player must meet all eligibility and DUPR requirements. No replacement is allowed after the deadline. Unapproved player changes will result in disqualification.
7. Safety & Belongings: Players are responsible for their own belongings and participate at their own risk. Organizers are not responsible for loss, injury or accidents related to a player’s health condition. Safety comes first.
8. Player Conduct: Players must maintain good sportsmanship and respectful communication. Organizers and referees reserve the right to disqualify players for disrespectful behaviour, failure to communicate or failure to follow tournament rules.
9. No Refunds: No refunds will be provided once registration is confirmed. If a player is injured or unable to participate, teams are encouraged to swap their slot with a friend or find an eligible replacement, subject to organizer approval.
10. Minimum Participation: If a category does not meet the minimum number of participants, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the category or reduce the cash prizes.
11. Photography & Media: The organizer reserves the right to use photos and videos taken during the tournament for promotional and marketing purposes.
