🇲🇾 Malaysia Campfest Pickleball Tournament 2025 – Factsheet

📅 Date: 13th September 2025 (Saturday)
🕗 Time: 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM
📍 Venue: Pickeasy @ Bukit Tinggi

Note : There will be a free open play session on 14th September

👫 Team Composition
- Each team must have 4–6 players
- Minimum 2 male and 2 female players required per team
- Each player may play a maximum of 2 games per team match

🔢 DUPR Requirement
- Maximum individual DUPR: 3.5
- DUPR reliability score must be ≥ 50%
- DUPR will be considered as of registration date

🗓 Tournament Format
🔁 Group Stage (Round Robin)
12 teams total → allocated into 3 groups of 4 teams
Each team match consists of 3 matches:
• Women’s Doubles (WD)
• Men’s Doubles (MD)
• Mixed Doubles (XD)

Winning Condition: First team to win 2 out of 3 matches is declared winner
Scoring: Rally scoring to 21 points
At 20–20, serve-to-win rule applies
Teams switch sides at 11 points
Lineup Submission: Finalised before match begins; no changes post-warm-up

⚔️ Knockout Stage
Top 2 teams from each group (6 total) qualify for Quarterfinals
2 highest-seeded teams from the group stage will receive a bye into the Semifinals

Seeding Criteria (to determine byes):
i. Total Team Match Wins
ii. Game Win/Loss Differential
iii.Point Win/Loss Differential
iv.In case of a tie → Teams’ Average DUPR

Quarterfinals → Semifinals → Final
Each team match consists of 4 matches:
• Women’s Doubles (WD)
• Men’s Doubles (MD)
• Mixed Doubles 1 (XD1)
• Mixed Doubles 2 (XD2)

Winning Condition: First to win 3 out of 4 matches advances
Tiebreaker: If tied 2–2, a Dreambreaker will be played

🌙 Dreambreaker Format
- Rally scoring to 21 points
- Each pair plays 4 points per rotation
- At 20–20, serve-to-win rule applies
- Teams must submit player rotation order within 5 minutes

Example Lineup Submission:
Team A: XD1 → XD2 → WD → MD
Team B: XD2 → WD → XD1 → MD
Matchups follow rotation order and repeat until a team reaches 21

4. Head-to-Head Result (if tied)
