⏰ Punctuality Policy

•      Players must arrive and complete registration check-in at least 30 minutes before the respective category start time.

•      Late arrival may result in disqualification without refund.

2. DUPR ELIGIBILITY

Match results will NOT be submitted to DUPR.

·     NR (No Rating) players are not eligible

3. Podium Restriction

• Only podium results officially recorded on SportsSync at the time of eligibility verification will be counted.
• Results from other platforms (e.g. Baseline, Reclub, etc.) will not be counted.
• Podium finishes include Champion, 1st Runner-up, 2nd Runner-up

4. DUPR INTEGRITY, SCREENING & FAIR PLAY

• Match results will NOT be submitted to DUPR.
• Players must self-check eligibility before payment.
• Primary eligibility reference: Official DUPR during registration and verification, up to full payment after approval.
• Skill benchmark: DUPR is not the only indicator of playing level. Relevant Men’s Doubles podium history in SportsSync is a key benchmark of demonstrated competitive performance.
• Suspected manipulation, unusual rating movement or competitive misrepresentation may be reported to the Tournament Director, Happy Karen (012-331 9352).
• A report does not automatically result in disqualification. The Tournament Director may review up to 6 months of DUPR movement and match history.
• The Organiser may reject entry, reassign category, disqualify without refund, remove league points or suspend participation where false information, manipulation or competitive misrepresentation is reasonably identified.
• The Tournament Director’s decision is final.

• Each category requires a minimum of 10 registered teams for the tournament to proceed.

• ⁠Subject to final verification and eligibility confirmation
• ⁠Payment only released if no valid protest, report, or eligibility challenge is received
• ⁠If report is raised → payout will be on hold until investigation completed
• Prize may be forfeited in cases of rule violation or eligibility breach
• ⁠Organizer’s decision is final

7. SEASON-END RANKING & ADDITIONAL SEASON-END BONUSES

BLISS LEAGUE recognises players for consistent performance across multiple league stops from October to December 2026.

Earn individual Bliss League points, climb the Season-End Rankings, compete with different partners, and make your mark in BLISS LEAGUE 2026.

• The Season-End prize pool is based on the completion of all 13 league stops and projected season participation.
• Prizes may be adjusted proportionately if fewer than 13 stops are completed or if actual participation is lower than projected.

8. TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE & SCORING FORMAT

📌 Group Stage

•      Participant teams will be divided into 4 groups

•      Round robin format.

•      Rally scoring to 15 points (first to 14 wins)

•      No deuce. Sudden death applies at 14–14.

•      Switch sides at 8 points

•      No timeout allowed

•      Top 2 teams from each group will advance to the Knockout Stage.

•      Format may be adjusted based on participation level.

1. Head-to-head
2. Point differential
3. Total points scored

📌 Quarterfinals

•      Rally scoring to 15 points (first to 15 wins)

•      Serve-to-win rule applies at 14–14 (win by 1 point)

•      Switch sides at 8 points

•      No timeout allowed

📌 Semifinals, 3rd Placement & Finals

•      Rally scoring to 21 points (first to 21 wins)

•      Serve-to-win rule applies at 20–20 (win by 1 point)

•      Switch sides at 11 points

•      One 1-minute timeout per team

9. MATCH OFFICIATING

👨‍⚖️ Group Stage to Quarter Finals

• Self-officiated.
• Receiving team makes line and fault calls.
• Disputes should be resolved respectfully.
• The Tournament Director or officials, if present, may overrule a call only if they have a clear and unobstructed view of the play.
• Video recordings will not be accepted as evidence.

👨‍⚖️ Semifinals, 3rd Placement & Finals

• Matches will be officiated by appointed referees.
• Referee and line judges will make final decisions.
• Video recordings will not be accepted as evidence.

• The organiser reserves the right to remove or ban players who violate the rules or display poor sportsmanship.
• Players are expected to compete honestly and respect opponents, partners, officials and fellow participants.
• Abusive behaviour, harassment, intimidation, deliberate cheating or unsportsmanlike conduct may result in a warning, match forfeiture, disqualification or suspension from future Bliss Pickleball Club events.

10. TIMEOUT POLICY

•      No timeouts are allowed during the Group Stage and Quarterfinal matches.

•      One 1-minute timeout per team is allowed during the Semifinal, 3rd Place, and Final matches.

•      Injury timeout: Maximum 10 minutes per team per match.

•      Withdrawal applies if player cannot continue.

11. EQUIPMENT & ATTIRE

•      Official ball used: Franklin X-40

•      Sportswear and non-marking sports shoes are required

•      Offensive or inappropriate clothing is prohibited

•      Paddle brand is unrestricted

12. SAFETY & LIABILITY

•      Basic first aid support available

•      No ambulance or medical crew on standby

•      Players are responsible for ensuring medical fitness

•      Players participate at own risk

•      Organiser shall not be liable for injury, loss, damage, or accident

13. GOVERNANCE & ORGANISER RIGHTS

•      The organiser reserves the right to modify schedule, format, categories, or prizes when necessary.

•      The event may be postponed or cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.

•      Postponed events may allow slot retention or refund options.

•      Full refund applies only if the event is cancelled by the organiser.

•      Unsportsmanlike conduct may result in warning, penalty, or disqualification.

•      The Tournament Director’s decision is final and binding.

14. MEDIA CONSENT

•      Participation constitutes consent for photography and video recording

•      Organiser may use media materials for marketing and promotional purposes

•      No compensation shall be payable for such usage

•      Participation indicates acceptance of all tournament rules and policies
