ABOUT BATTLE OF THE QUEENS

Battle of the Queens × ONNI Pink Month is a friendly Women’s Doubles pickleball tournament in support of Pink October awareness.

More than just a tournament, this event brings women together through pickleball, friendly competition and community while spreading awareness during Pink Month. 💗

DUPR ELIGIBILITY

• Eligibility is based on each player’s DUPR rating on the date of registration.

• Any rating changes after registration will not affect eligibility.

• Match results will not be submitted to DUPR.

RULES & REGULATIONS

1. Scoring: Group Stage, Round of 16, Quarterfinals & Semifinals will use 15-point rally scoring with sudden death. 3rd Placing & Final will use 21-point rally scoring with sudden death.

2. Score Calling: Server must clearly call the score before every serve. Both teams are responsible for confirming the score before play continues.

3. Tiebreaker: In case of a tie in Group Stage standings: Total Point Difference (points scored – points conceded) and Head-to-Head result (if exactly 2 teams are tied).

4. Punctuality: Players must be ready at their scheduled match time. Failure to appear by the scheduled match time will result in a walkover.

5. Medical Timeout: A maximum 10-minute injury timeout is allowed. If the player cannot continue after the timeout, the match will be forfeited.

6. Partner Replacement: Replacement is allowed only with Tournament Director approval. The replacement player must meet all eligibility and DUPR requirements. Player replacement must be made no later than one day before the tournament. Unapproved player changes will result in disqualification.

7. Safety & Belongings: Players are responsible for their own belongings and participate at their own risk. Organizers are not responsible for loss, injury or accidents related to a player’s health condition. Safety comes first.

8. Player Conduct: Players must maintain good sportsmanship and respectful communication. Organizers and referees reserve the right to disqualify players for disrespectful behaviour or failure to follow tournament rules.

9. No Refunds: No refunds will be provided once registration is confirmed. If a player is unable to participate, the team may find an eligible replacement, subject to organizer approval and the replacement deadline.

10. Minimum Participation: Prize money is based on a full registration of 40 teams. If the tournament does not reach 40 teams, the organizer reserves the right to adjust the cash prizes accordingly.

11. Photography & Media: The organizer reserves the right to use photos and videos taken during the tournament for promotional, sponsor and marketing purposes.
