The Highest Altitude Pickleball Tournament is set to take place in Resorts World Genting, Pahang with the mission of promoting pickleball, fostering community participation, and creating a competitive yet enjoyable environment for players of all levels.

1. Tournament Details
Date: 19th October 2025
Venue: Sports Centre, Resorts World Awana, Genting Highlands Pahang.

2. Event Categories & Format
• Men's Doubles (19+) – Max 32 pairs
• Mixed Doubles (19+) – Max 32 pairs
• Women’s Doubles (19+) – Max 32 pairs

✔ Eligibility: Participants must have a DUPR rating and combined DUPR rating ≤ 7.2 at time of registration.
✔ Age Requirement: All participants must be 21 years old or above.
✔ Compliance: Participants are required to follow all tournament rules and regulations.
✔ Registration: Entries are considered confirmed only after payment is received.
✔ Organizer’s Rights: The organizers reserve the right to amend event details if deemed necessary.

3. Registration Fees
• Men's Doubles (19+): RM 350/pairs
• Mixed Doubles (19+): RM350/pairs
• Women’s Doubles (19+): RM350/pairs

4. Prize Pool
• Champion: RM2,800 + Somersby All Year Supply
• 2nd Place: RM1,800 + One (01) JOOLA/ Protech Paddle
• 3rd Place: RM850 + 2D1N stay at Superior Deluxe Room, Resorts World Awana
• 4th Place: Medal + Two (02) Genting Skyworlds 1-Day Standard tickets

5. Eligibility & Participation Rules

✔ Active DUPR rating required
✔ IC/Passport verification at registration
✔ Registration confirmed upon full payment
✔ Organizers reserve the right to amend details

6. Competition Format & Scoring
General Rules
• Group stage: Round-robin
• Knockout stage: R16, Quarterfinals, Semifinals & Finals
• USAPA rules apply
• Seeding based on DUPR or random draw
• Players call their own lines; referees officiate finals

Scoring system

1. Single game to 21 rally points
2. Sudden death at 20–20 (no deuce)
* Finals
1. 1 game to 11 (traditional scoring, start at 0-0-2)
2. Sudden death at 10–10 (no deuce)

7. Match Regulations
Warm-Up & Walkovers
• Warm-up: 2 minutes before match
• Match start: within 3 minutes of call
• 10-minute grace period → beyond that = walkover

Medical Timeouts
• Max 15 minutes (evaluation included)
• If unfit to continue → forfeit

8. Venue & Facilities
• 6 courts
• Washrooms, seating, and first aid available
• Ample parking and spectator access

9. Registration & Deadline
• Register via sportssync.asia
• Closing Date: Closed as it is full.
• Cancellation Policy:
• No refunds after payment
• If participation is less than 50% of max capacity → category cancelled, full refund issued
• If above 50% but not full → category proceeds with 50% reduced prize pool

10. Rules & Equipment
• USAPA rules enforced
• Paddles must meet USAPA & UPA-A standards
• Official ball: Protech XP40 (substitutes if necessary)
• Attire must not conflict with ball color
