Peakles League Malaysia (PLM) @ Jom Pickleball Centre Muar Johor
Peakles League Malaysia (PLM) is an annual team-based pickleball competition founded by Southern Peakles League. Our mission is to grow pickleball in Malaysia through high-quality competitions, community engagement, player development, and interstate collaboration, while building a sustainable and competitive league for players, clubs, and corporate teams nationwide.

🎮 PLM™ FORMAT
Each team consists of:
- 2 Male
- 2 Female
Each team match consists of:
- Women's Doubles
- Men's Doubles
- Mixed Doubles 1
- Mixed Doubles 2
- Each game is played to 15 points, win by 2.
-If tied at 2-2 after the first four games, a tiebreaker called the DreamBreaker is played.
-The Setup: All four players participate (two female and two male).
-The Rotation: Players rotate individually in a set order every 4 points, playing singles against their opposite-gender or same-gender counterparts.
-Scoring: It uses to rally 21 points (must win by 2).
🧩 DUPR DIVISIONS
DUPR 14 Age40+
- Team total must not exceed 14.200
- Maximum one player rated 3.999
- Non-rated player will be assigned 3.000
Team total = combined DUPR rating of all four players.
Local and international players are welcome.
EQUIPMENT & FAIR PLAY
• Only USA Pickleball or UPA-A approved paddles are permitted.
• Coaching is allowed only when the ball is not in play.
• All match results will be submitted to DUPR.
• Players must present an IC or passport for verification when requested.
The following offences may result in immediate disqualification and reporting to DUPR:
- Fake DUPR accounts
- Match fixing
- Sandbagging
- Intentionally manipulating ratings
- Unsportsmanlike conduct
⚠️Match Regulations
🔹 Check-In, Punctuality & Walkovers
- Players must check in at least 30 minutes before their first scheduled match.
- A 10-minute grace period applies.
- Teams failing to appear after the grace period will forfeit the for all balance match and a walkover will be awarded.
🔹 Medical Timeout
• One 15-minute injury timeout allowed.
• Inability to continue will be considered a forfeit.
⚠️Health, Safety & Liability
• Participants compete at their own risk.
• Players are responsible for ensuring they are physically and medically fit to compete.
• The Organiser, venue, and sponsors shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained before, during, or after the event.
⚠️Prizes & Participation Threshold
• Prize distribution is subject to minimum participation numbers.
• If the tournament receives less than of its intended entries, prize amounts may be adjusted accordingly.
• All prize decisions by the Organiser are final.
⚠️Registration & Deadline
• Registration Closes: August 13th, 2026 (Spots are limited, first-come, first-served!)
• Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, except if the tournament is cancelled by the Organiser.
• The Organiser reserves the right to close registration once a category reaches full capacity.
• Once registration is completed, partner changes are only allowed if the original partner is unable to compete due to injury, supported by a valid medical certificate and subject to organiser approval.
• Full refund only if tournament is cancelled.
The Organizer reserves the right to:
• Modify event schedule if required.
• Adjust match format or tournament structure.
• Revise categories or prize allocation if necessary.
• Make final decisions on all disputes.
📢 ORGANIZER DECLARATIONS
• Prize may be forfeited in cases of rule violation or eligibility breach.
• The Tournament Director has final authority on all rulings and disputes.
• Player substitutions before the event are subject to approval and DUPR eligibility requirements.
• Any team unable to field four players will forfeit the affected game(s) by a score of 21-0.
• No refunds will be provided after successful registration unless the event is cancelled by the organizer.
• If fewer than 10 teams,the event will be cancelled. (full refund provided 4weeks)
• Players participate at their own risk. The organizer shall not be responsible for any injury, loss, theft, or damage.
• The organizer reserves the right to amend schedules, court assignments, or tournament formats where necessary to ensure fairness and smooth event operations.
