Date: 26th and 27th September 2026 (Saturday and Sunday)

Categories:

Mens/Mixed Doubles > 2.9 DUPR (26th September Saturday)

Mens/Mixed Doubles > 3.4 DUPR (27th September Sunday)

Venue: PJ Sports Club



Novice Categories Details (48 teams per category*):

  • Men’s Doubles DUPR below 2.9 

(8 pools, 6 teams each (Top 2 in each pool will qualify to knockout stage). 

  • Mixed Doubles DUPR below 2.9

(8 pools, 6 teams each (Top 2 in each pool will qualify to knockout stage).


Intermediate Categories Details (48 teams per category*):

  • Men’s Doubles DUPR below 3.4

(8 pools, 6 teams each (Top 2 in each pool will qualify to knockout stage). 

  • Mixed Doubles DUPR below 3.4

(8 pools, 6 teams each (Top 2 in each pool will qualify to knockout stage).

Entry fees:

Novice - RM190 per team

Intermediate - RM240 per team



Prize structures:- Novice Categories

  1. Champion RM800 cash + 1x Joola Paddle
  2. Runner up RM500 cash
  3. 2nd Runner up RM300 cash

  1. Champion RM1500 cash + 1x Joola Paddle
  2. Runner up RM800 cash
  3. 2nd Runner up RM500 cash 


Eligibility Rules:

  • Open to all players with DUPR 3.4 & 2.9 below respectively
  • The highest DUPR rating recorded on the player’s account within the 3 months prior to the player's registration date for the tournament will be used to determine eligibility.
  • NR is allowed, player with more than 1 DUPR account is not allowed
  • Players with more than one DUPR account are strictly not permitted.
  • Players who have achieved any podium finish (1st place) in a recognised tournament are not eligible to participate.
  • Players with 2nd or 3rd place finishes involving more than twenty (20) teams may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the Organisers. Such decisions shall be final.
  • For the purposes of these eligibility criteria, club or inter-club tournaments limited to sixteen (20) teams or fewer are not considered recognised tournaments. Podium finishers for these tournaments are eligible to participate
  • All decisions by the Organisers are final.


Tournament Rules & Match Format:

  • Round Robin Scoring: Rally to 15 points (Sudden Death: At 14–14, next point wins)
  • Knock Out Stage Scoring: Rally 15 points (Sudden Death: At 14–14, next point wins)
  • Semi Final Stage Scoring: Rally 21 points (Sudden Death: At 20–20, next point wins)
  • Final Scoring: Best 2 out of 3 games. Rally to 15 points (Sudden Death: At 14–14, next point wins)
  • Switching Sides: Teams switch sides when one team reaches 8 points
  • Standard Rules: Matches follow the USA Pickleball Rulebook, except where modified based on the final tournament regulations

Calls & Officiating:

  • Receiver’s Call applies for line/serve calls
  • Scorekeeper will assign to each court to help scorekeeping only.
  • Referee & Line Judge from Semifinals onwards


Other Rules:

  • Players must be at the venue at least 1 hour before scheduled match
  • A maximum wait of 5 minutes will be allowed. Failure to show = Disqualification (DQ)
  • A DQ or walkover will awarded opponent a 0-1 score.
